I am teaching an "World Literature in English" course here at a college in Vancouver British Columbia. We are reading a novel by Hwee Hwee Tan next.
I am looking for examples of Singlish. The link is very helpful for text, but I would love to find some internet radio, podcast, flash, or other audio or audiovisual examples so we can hear how it sounds.
I would especially love a connection to a sitcom or something indigenous to Singapore.
I already have the mrbrown.com post on singlish.
